The Centre for the Digital Promotion of the History and Culture of Meteora is located in the town of Kalambaka and opened its doors to the public for the first time in May 2017.

It is a state-of-the-art centre that includes a 3D projection room with a capacity of 105 seats, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment (3D projector, 5.1 sound system and special low-frequency subwoofer). The visitor, wearing special glasses provided, can watch the following 3D projections:

Meteorological Content of Meteora (duration of about 15 minutes): travel back millions of years and "live" the creation of the wonderful landscape of Meteora that we all admire today.
Take a tour of the Holy Monasteries of Meteora (duration about 15 minutes).
